Premium pasta comes from where you least expect it

Premium pasta comes from where you least expect it
Many people think the name Marodi comes from Italy. Understandably so. It sounds Italian, it sounds familiar, it sounds like a brand backed by a long tradition of pasta-making. But Marodi is not from Italy.
Marodi is from Međimurje — the northernmost point of Croatia, from the top of the geographical map and, more importantly, from the top in terms of quality. In Nedelišće, where winters are harsh and people don't waste words, pasta has been crafted for decades that doesn't try to look premium. It simply is.
From carefully selected raw materials, through a process that combines the precision of modern production with a character that cannot be invented or bought, a brand was born that doesn't prove its quality loudly, but consistently. That very character was the starting point of the campaign.

When Međimurje tells its own story
To tell the story of Marodi the way stories are truly told in Međimurje, we invited Vlatko Štampar — a comedian, a Međimurje native, and a man who perfectly understands the difference between humor that merely entertains and humor that leaves a mark.
Vlatko wasn't just the face of the campaign. He was its natural extension — speaking in a language closer to the audience than any advertising slogan.
Through the Međimurje dialect, relatable everyday situations, and humor that never goes too far, together we created "Stories from the Heartland" — a series of six episodes that use laughter to answer one simple question: Why is Marodi premium pasta, and what does quality pasta actually mean beyond advertising slogans — in a real kitchen, for real people?
Six episodes.
One clear message.
Each episode worked as a standalone piece of short, entertaining content, but together they built the story of a brand that knows who it is and where it comes from.
There was no need for grand phrases about tradition and quality. Just pasta from Međimurje, a man who grew up there, and stories that are easy to watch and even easier to remember.
The campaign lived through reels, short digital formats, and content adapted to the rhythm of modern platforms, while all episodes were also available on YouTube.

Premium pasta doesn't have to come from Tuscany
Marodi has been proving for decades that quality has no geographical prejudice.
It can come from a small region in the north of Croatia, from a factory where work is taken seriously and things don't need to be proven loudly. Stories from the Heartland was exactly that. Not a campaign that boasts, but a campaign that shows.
And it does so in the way Međimurje has always done things — quietly, naturally, and better than many would expect. Because premium pasta can also be homegrown.
It can be from Međimurje. It can be its own. And it can come from the top.
